Product Commercialization Associate (Operations Associate)

We currently serve over 450,000 patients in the New York area, through 35+ customers and 10+ partners, offering a wide range of products ranging from virtual navigation services to worksite health centers. We are looking for a Product Commercialization Associate - Operations Associate to join our team, focused on delivering a great value and a best‑class experience for our patients. In this role, you will drive the implementation of new products, implement new customers & partnerships, and develop strategies for optimizing the patient experience. The Operations Associate is a highly visible role with significant opportunities to lead change and engage with senior leadership across the Mount Sinai Health System. Manage and coordinate all aspects of project management including budgets, resource utilization, tasks, schedules, issues, risks and risk mitigation plans, change management, and status to support effective decisions and project reporting to stakeholders and steering committees. Design and build efficient workflows, optimizing processes for maximum effectiveness. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align product operations with overall business objectives. Execute service and outcomes contract requirements and track ongoing performance. Drive the revenue cycle processes for bundle payment operations including claims processing, payment receipt, and payment distribution in collaboration with the revenue cycle team. Drive the implementation and iteration of new technologies to support day‑to‑day operations (e.g., ZenDesk). Develop and maintain documentation for product operations, including standard operating procedures and training materials. Provide support and training to team members on new product features and operational procedures. Support Improvement Efforts Develop and track metrics improvement through reports and dashboards to communicate financial and operational objectives. Collaborate with the analytics team to determine areas of clinical quality improvement and operational optimization. Troubleshoot and respond to issues raised by customers (clients, patients and partners). Identify gaps in patient experience & propose solutions to make the patient’s journey seamless. Design presentations that distill and communicate analytical and observational findings to stakeholders, including creating figures and diagrams to illustrate operations. Support workgroups and project meetings with guidance from the team, developing trusting working relationships with all partners. Effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of staff, from leadership to front line personnel. Present findings and strategic recommendations in formal and informal settings to project stakeholders and leadership with focus on product growth. Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree required 2 years of professional experience in a fast‑paced work environment; experience in healthcare industry is a plus Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) Experience with electronic medical records, Epic (preferred) Additional Skills and Qualities Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and trouble‑shooting skills Self‑motivated team player Highly organized, structured, and detail‑oriented Background in program development and process improvement strongly preferred Compensation The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $72,473 - $108,709 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
