Registered Nurse - Acute Care - Travel/Contract - Up to $3,200/week!

Travel Nurse Position Near Eureka, CA

Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to acute care patients in a 13-week local travel assignment near Eureka, CA. The role offers up to $3,200 per week based on experience and includes a fast-paced medical-surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to acute care patients.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, symptoms, and treatment responses.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per physician orders and facility protocols.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
• Follow infection-control procedures, patient-safety standards, and hospital policies.
• Respond to changes in patient status and participate in emergency interventions when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
• Active California RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
• Current clinical credentials must remain valid throughout the assignment.

Preferred Skills:

• Acute Care experience strongly preferred.
