Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Ford Tool and Carbide Company is a trusted supplier of metalworking tools and manufacturing products. Since 1954, we have focused on providing dependable products, responsive service, and customer-focused solutions to metalworking companies of all sizes.

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting customers by phone and email, entering orders, preparing quotes, coordinating purchases, and helping ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

Industry experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train a motivated candidate who has strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming customer calls and respond to customer emails professionally and promptly
Assist customers with product inquiries, order status, availability, pricing, and general questions
Enter and process customer orders accurately
Prepare and follow up on customer quotes
Communicate with customers regarding pricing, lead times, backorders, and delivery updates
Expedite open orders and coordinate with vendors to meet customer deadlines
Assist with purchasing products and supplies from manufacturers and vendors
Review orders for accuracy and ensure all necessary information is documented
Maintain accurate customer, order, quote, and purchasing information in the company’s CRM and computer system
Perform additional customer-support duties as needed

Schedule

Full-time
40 hours per week
Monday through Friday
7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
