Senior Principal Systems Engineer

Leading the systems engineering team, the full-time Senior Principal Systems Engineer will manage the program lifecycle for Space-based Systems, overseeing requirements development, architecture, and integration while working primarily remotely. Key responsibilities Provide systems engineering leadership to develop and implement requirements, CONOPS, architecture, and integration of space missions Manage and control the technical baseline, including cost, schedule, and risk management Guide multi-disciplinary teams in system architecture, verification, and integration & testing processes Required qualifications BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field, with 10+ years of related experience Demonstrated experience in systems engineering processes, including requirements development and change management Proven leadership experience with multi-disciplinary teams meeting cost, schedule, and performance goals Experience with networking systems and knowledge of missions and customers across core technology areas Exceptional presentation skills for engaging with senior decision-makers and technical audiences
