In this role, you will:Design, develop, and improve mechanical systems and components for commercial cooking equipmentCreate detailed 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using SolidWorksCollaborate with manufacturing, operations, quality, and other cross-functional teams throughout the product development cycleBuild and evaluate prototypes, conduct testing, and analyze performance resultsEnsure designs meet applicable safety, quality, and regulatory standardsTroubleshoot design challenges and implement practical, cost-effective solutionsOptimize products for manufacturability, reliability, and performanceSupport projects from initial concept through production launch and ongoing product improvementsWhat you'll bring:Ability to work full-time on-site in Windsor, CaliforniaComfortable collaborating with manufacturing, production, and engineering teams in a hands-on environmentQualifications:Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field3-5 years of mechanical design engineering experienceStrong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and product development processesExperience designing durable, reliable machine systemsProficiency with SolidWorks CAD softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCompensation:Salary Range: $75,000-$100,000 annually**Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, education, training, and business needs.Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysLife and disability insuranceProfessional development opportunitiesWork Environment:This position is based at Nieco's manufacturing facility in Windsor, California.
