Controller

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Fractional Controller to provide part-time financial leadership and oversight. This role is ideal for a senior finance professional who thrives in dynamic environments and can deliver high-level financial strategy while remaining hands-on with core accounting and reporting functions. The Fractional Controller will partner with executive leadership to strengthen financial operations, improve reporting accuracy, and support strategic growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities Oversee monthly close, financial reporting, and general accounting operations. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong internal controls across financial processes. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Provide financial insights and performance analysis to support executive decision-making. Advise on pricing strategies, cost optimization, and capital allocation. Support banking relationships, treasury oversight, and financing initiatives as needed. Assist with due diligence, M&A activity, or restructuring initiatives if applicable. Evaluate and improve financial systems, workflows, and ERP utilization (SAP, QuickBooks, BI tools, etc.). Establish KPIs and real-time reporting dashboards for leadership visibility. Build scalable processes that support growth while maintaining cost efficiency. Qualifications 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including Controller or Head of Finance roles. Experience providing financial leadership in multi-entity or growth-focused environments. Strong background in financial reporting, treasury management, and governance. Experience with ERP systems and financial transformation initiatives (SAP HANA, Hyperion, BI platforms preferred). Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced financial analytics tools. Experience in aviation, construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, or start-up environments preferred. Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a part-time capacity. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with executive leadership. #J-18808-Ljbffr
