Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Night Shift)ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Night Shift) in Eureka, California.LocationEureka, CAAssignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Schedule/ShiftNight shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (18:00 - 06:00). Requires working 3 out of 6 weekends and 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse will provide care to patients admitted to the Emergency Department. This role involves managing ER hold patients in an Observation Unit setting. The average daily census is around 105 with 135 visits per day, supported by an interdisciplinary team, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more. A dedication to delivering high-quality patient care is essential.ResponsibilitiesProvide nursing care to ER hold patients in the Observation Unit.Administer medications and monitor patient response.Utilize Epic for documentation and charting.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.Manage emergency medical situations as they arise.Required ExperienceMinimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an ER or similar setting.Experience with various patient conditions and emergency care procedures.Certifications/LicensureCurrent California RN license is required (no pending licenses accepted).Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC preferred.About ARMStaffingFounded in 2011 and a member of the ARGroup, LLC, ARMStaffing connects dedicated nurses and allied health professionals with the facilities that need them most.
