Summary:Organize agency fundraisers and special events while increasing public awareness of agency services and activities. Job Duties (include, but not limited to the following):Ability to work independently and lead event committeesMaintain the visual integrity of the agency's brandProvide timely information to the public and stakeholders on agency events and newsReviews specification sheets, obtains and prepares bids, and acts as liaison with vendors, sponsors and donorsAssist with creating marketing materials for major events/fundraisers and distributes materials to solicit donors and community support.Able to lead and represent the agency for all events/campaigns/fundraisers/special projectsMaintain budget for events/campaigns/fundraisers/special projectsMaintain contacts for event committees and find new members as neededTrack the effectiveness of Communications Programs, Marketing Campaigns and EventsAttend workshops and training related to branding, marketing and eventsMaintain relationships with vendors and seek out new partnerships for the agency to create and host successful events​Attend special events and television appearances for networking to increase public awareness of agency activities, events and services  Education/Experience:Bachelor 's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
