Employment offers, start dates, and continued employment are dependent upon Resicum International LLC being awarded the contract and the successful transition of contract performance.Join Resicum International LLCResicum International LLC is seeking motivated and experienced Aircraft Mechanic I – Airframe personnel to support organizational-level maintenance operations for VMFA-112 at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NAS JRB) Fort Worth, Texas.This position supports the inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, modification, and servicing of F/A-18 aircraft across multiple variants. Working under the guidance of senior maintenance personnel, the Aircraft Mechanic I performs airframe maintenance while ensuring aircraft are maintained in accordance with NAVAIR technical publications, engineering data, quality assurance standards, and established safety procedures.If you are a dedicated aviation maintenance professional with experience supporting tactical military aircraft and a commitment to mission readiness, we encourage you to apply.Position SummaryThe Aircraft Mechanic I – Airframe performs scheduled and unscheduled organizational-level maintenance on F/A-18 aircraft structures, mechanical systems, and associated components. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, servicing, and operational testing of aircraft systems while supporting daily flight operations and maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and aircraft readiness.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled and unscheduled organizational-level maintenance on F/A-18 aircraft across multiple variants.Troubleshoot and repair aircraft structures, landing gear, flight controls, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, environmental control, and auxiliary systems.Repair, replace, modify, and rebuild aircraft structural components, flight control surfaces, mechanical linkages, hydraulic plumbing, and associated assemblies.Perform aircraft sheet metal repairs and structural modifications in accordance with approved technical publications and engineering drawings.Remove, install, rig, align, adjust, and operationally test aircraft systems and components following maintenance actions.Read and interpret engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs), Maintenance Instruction Manuals (MIMs), service bulletins, technical directives, and wiring diagrams.Remove, inspect, repair, reinstall, and operationally test aircraft engines and associated components as required.Perform maintenance on engine accessories, fuel systems, oil systems, gearboxes, valves, and other mechanical components.Perform authorized maintenance and repairs to aircraft electrical wiring and associated accessories.Conduct preflight, turnaround, post-flight, conditional, and special inspections.Service aircraft by performing lubrication, fluid servicing, filter replacement, brake inspections, and other scheduled maintenance tasks.Assist with aircraft towing, jacking, recovery, and ground handling operations.Utilize hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, rivet guns, drills, sheet metal equipment, precision measuring instruments, and aircraft support equipment.Document maintenance actions, discrepancy reports, inspections, and aircraft logbook entries in accordance with Navy maintenance procedures.Coordinate maintenance activities with Production Control, Quality Assurance, engineering personnel, and Government representatives.Maintain compliance with Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention, Tool Control Program (TCP), environmental regulations, and OSHA safety requirements.Support continuous process improvement initiatives to improve aircraft reliability, maintenance efficiency, and mission readiness.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.Ability to climb ladders, aircraft stands, and maintenance platforms.Ability to work in confined spaces and around operating aircraft.Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crawl, and work overhead for extended periods.Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).Why Join Resicum International LLC?Resicum International LLC delivers world-class aviation maintenance, training, and technical support services to the U.S. Department of Defense and allied partner nations worldwide. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, protected veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.Job RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of three (3) years of aircraft maintenance experience, with experience supporting F/A-18 aircraft or other military tactical aircraft preferred.Demonstrated experience performing aircraft inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and servicing.Working knowledge of F/A-18 aircraft systems, airframe maintenance procedures, and applicable technical publications.Experience performing aircraft structural repairs, sheet metal repairs, component replacement, and aircraft servicing.Working knowledge of aircraft hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, flight control, mechanical, and engine systems.Basic knowledge of aircraft electrical systems and electrical theory.Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs), wiring diagrams, and other approved technical publications.Experience using aircraft maintenance support equipment, sheet metal tools, precision measuring instruments, and specialized aircraft maintenance equipment.Ability to remove, install, rig, align, adjust, and operationally test aircraft systems and components.Strong organizational, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize assigned maintenance tasks while meeting production schedules and mission requirements.Ability to work effectively under the guidance of senior maintenance personnel while maintaining strict compliance with quality, safety, and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention procedures.Ability to obtain and maintain all required installation access credentials.Preferred QualificationsPrevious U.S. Navy or U.S. Marine Corps experience maintaining F/A-18A/B/C/D, F/A-18E/F, or EA-18G aircraft.Experience supporting Organizational (O-Level), Intermediate (I-Level), or Depot (D-Level) aircraft maintenance.Formal training in aircraft airframe repair, sheet metal fabrication, structural repair, or military aircraft maintenance.Experience performing aircraft servicing, flight line maintenance, corrosion control, and structural repairs.Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Contractor Logistics Support (CLS), NAVAIR, or U.S. Department of Defense aviation maintenance contracts.FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one, if required by the contract.
