Job Title: Clinical Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Acute Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an acute or sub-acute facility License: Valid, current, full and unrestricted Nursing License to practice in any state or territory of the United States Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within six months of hire Must-Have: - Ability to work independently in completing assignments - Professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments Description: The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures. This requires professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments. The role involves providing support to individuals of all ages and their families. Guidelines include physician orders, standards of care, nursing policies, and procedures manuals. Nursing duties focus on delivering comprehensive care in a supportive environment.
