Experienced Receiving Associate
Location: Newburgh, NY
Pay: $22-$26/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (occasional overtime)
Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions is hiring an Experienced Receiving Associate for a full-time opportunity in Newburgh, NY. This role supports warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and forklift operation.

Candidates must be comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word).

What You'll Do

Receive, inspect, unload, and process inbound shipments.
Verify quantities, documentation, and inventory accuracy.
Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF scanners.
Create shipping labels and documentation using carrier systems such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
Generate Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other freight documentation.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
Load and unload trucks, trailers, and warehouse transfers.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
Follow customer routing guides and shipping instructions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

3-5 years of warehouse experience required.
Forklift experience and certification required.
Experience with inventory control, warehouse operations, and shipping/receiving.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and WMS software.
Experience with shipping software is a plus.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Reliable attendance and flexibility for seasonal overtime.
Ability to lift 40+ pounds.
High school diploma or equivalent.
