SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Developer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in iOS and Android app development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cross-platform mobile development, using a framework like React Native, and be proficient in a variety of mobile development technologies. Additionally, expertise in back-end technologies, specifically AWS services and API integration, is a strong plus to create robust, feature-rich mobile applications leveraging strong backend capabilities. This role requires a collaborative mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality mobile solutions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Mobile App Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using a framework like React Native.
• Implement UI/UX designs to create responsive and user-friendly mobile interfaces.
• Optimize app performance for various devices and screen sizes.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product teams to ensure a seamless user experience.

Backend Integration:

• Leverage AWS services such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3 to build and integrate backend functionality into mobile apps.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize APIs for mobile app communication with the backend.
• Implement authentication, user management, and data synchronization features using AWS Cognito or similar services.

Cross-Platform Development:

• Utilize a cross-platform development framework to maximize code reusability across iOS and Android.
• Ensure platform-specific optimizations and customizations when necessary.
• Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in cross-platform mobile development.

Agile Development:

• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, estimation, and execution.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to refine requirements and provide technical expertise.
• Continuously improve development processes and practices.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Foster a collaborative team environment and provide guidance to junior developers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
• Contribute to code reviews, knowledge sharing, and documentation.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in cross-platform mobile development using React Native or a similar framework.
• Extensive experience with iOS and Android app development.
• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns.
• Familiarity with AWS services for backend development, including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Experience with API integration and third-party service integration in mobile apps.
• Version control using Git and GitHub.
• Familiarity with NodeJS and TypeScript

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of mobile app development experience for iOS and Android platforms.
• Proven track record of developing cross-platform mobile apps and integrating backend services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team and with stakeholders.
• Agile Scrum methodology proficiency.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing requirements and technology landscapes.

Education/Certifications (Preferred):

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in mobile development (e.g., React Native).
• AWS Certified Developer - Associate or Professional.

The salary range for this position is approximately $125,000 to $155,000, based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is also eligible for annual performance-based bonuses.
