PART-TIME HR RECRUITER

100% IN-OFFICE POSITION — NOT HYBRID OR REMOTE

TNT Services is seeking a Part-Time HR Recruiter to join our growing Human Resources Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, motivated HR professional who enjoys recruiting, connecting with candidates, and helping build strong teams.

The HR Recruiter will play an important role in supporting TNT's continued growth by identifying, engaging, screening, and helping hire qualified candidates across multiple departments and locations.

Schedule: Monday - Friday approximately 28 hours per week:
Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 8:30 am - 1:30 pm 
Tuesday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm and Friday noon - 5:00 pm

Location: 100% in office — this is not a hybrid or remote position

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.

The ideal candidate is someone who is self-motivated, organized, professional, responsive, and comfortable communicating with both candidates and hiring managers.

You will work closely with department managers and the HR team to understand staffing needs, maintain recruiting activity, move candidates through the hiring process, and help ensure positions are filled with qualified individuals who are a good fit for TNT.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process , from job posting and candidate sourcing through screening, interviewing, selection, and job offers.
• Partner with department managers to understand current and future hiring needs.
• Maintain and manage daily job requisitions across recruiting platforms.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
• Review applications and resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings.
• Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with hiring managers.
• Maintain accurate and timely candidate information in TNT's applicant management system.
• Monitor candidates throughout the recruiting process and ensure timely follow-up and communication.
• Help coordinate candidate assessments and other pre-employment requirements.
• Prepare and extend job offers as directed.
• Maintain organized recruiting records and documentation.
• Provide a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
• Communicate regularly with hiring managers regarding recruiting activity, candidate status, and open positions.
• Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and candidate sourcing strategies.

ADDITIONAL HR RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of a growing HR department, this position may also assist with:

• New-hire onboarding and orientation scheduling.
• Conducting employee orientations.
• Employee file maintenance and organization.
• Uniform inventory and distribution.
• Scheduling and general HR administrative support.
• Answering phones and assisting employees and managers with basic HR needs.
• Mail sorting, data entry, and other administrative tasks.
• Special HR projects and other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 1+ year of Human Resources and/or Recruiting experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional and confident when communicating with candidates and hiring managers.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities.
• Strong follow-through and ability to work independently.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel .
• Experience with applicant tracking or recruiting systems preferred.
• Experience using social media platforms for recruiting or professional purposes.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive HR information.
• Positive, solution-oriented approach to problem solving.

COMPENSATION

Up to $24.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
