HR Specialist

Love getting out from behind the desk? We’re looking for an approachable, detail-oriented HR Specialist to split time between the office and the plant floor to support our manufacturing crew! Your Impact Employee Relations: Serve as the go-to HR resource across all shifts. Recruiting & Onboarding: Screen candidates, partner with temp agencies, and run new-hire orientation. Admin & Compliance: Manage HRIS data, audit timecards, handle WA PFML/FMLA tracking, and support benefits. Requirements 2+ years HR experience (Manufacturing/Industrial preferred). salary: $28 - $30 per hour shift: First work hours: 9 AM - 4 PM education: Associate Responsibilities Serve as the first line of HR support across all shifts, answering general questions and supporting investigations/policy enforcement. Oversee full-cycle recruiting for plant and office roles, manage temp agency relationships, and lead candidate screening. Conduct new hire orientation, complete Form I-9 verification, and partner with supervisors to track required training. Maintain HRIS records, audit timecards, assist with payroll inquiries, and help employees navigate benefits/open enrollment. Maintain an active presence on the plant floor to drive retention, assist supervisors with workforce planning, and support engagement initiatives.
