Job Description UW Medical Center – Northwest has an opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse who is interested in working at our Childbirth Center. We have upcoming roles for an experienced nurse in Labor and Delivery or Nursery Care Unit / Neonatal ICU. Responsibilities The autonomy to practice to the highest level of your license. Assist in the labor and delivery process. Administration of medication, including epidurals. Help mother and baby in the baby's first breastfeeding. Assist in mother and baby couplet care. Schedule 90% Night shift (36 hrs. weekly) Requirements Two or more years as a Labor and Delivery Nurse or Level II or higher Neonatal ICU. Have/Obtain an RN license to practice in Washington state or MSL. Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Compensation, Benefits And Position Details Pay Range Minimum: $45.59 hourly Pay Range Maximum: $83.64 hourly Other Compensation: Relocation available; BSN or higher premium $1.00/hr; Certification pay $1.25/hr; Night Shift Differential $5.00/hr; Weekend shift Differential $4.00/hr; Sunday night premium $3.00/hr; Overtime pay.
