Responsibilities Market Development & Growth Identify and prioritize growth opportunities Develop and execute field-level initiatives to drive product adoption and market penetration Drive new product introductions and commercialization efforts Customer Engagement & Technical Enablement Travel and meet Customer and Distributors face-to-face to ensure business development Provide technical guidance and application support to facilitate solution adoption Translate customer needs and market trends into actionable insights for marketing, technology and business teams Account Management Close new sales and coordinate with regional Sales team Manage Key Accounts Support pricing discussions Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Technology, and Product Management Support training, events, and promotional activities Performance Monitoring & Reporting Track market development activities and impact on growth metrics Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and feedback Contribute to business reviews and regional planning forums Qualifications Required: Master of Science degree 5+ years hands‑on professional experience in Polymers & Composites additives Experience in market development or technical sales within the chemical industry Excellent technical and chemical knowledge Strong cross‑functional player who can work effectively across teams (Marketing, Quality and Supply Chain) and drive results Strong Sales skills with high customer orientation Excellent oral and written communications skills Energetic, self‑motivated High willingness to explore new things and create new business models Familiar with using common Office applications Willingness to travel on a frequent basis (up to 50%) Preferred: Familiarity with technical product lines and application support Preferred degrees in Chemistry, Plastics, Chemical Engineering Experience in Adhesives, Sealants and Coatings 5-10 years of direct sales or techno‑commercial experience in the Plastic/Polymer additives Marketing experience and Project Management skills What We Offer Base Pay Range: $111,000 - $162,800 Incentive or sales variable compensation payments based on performance Health, dental & vision insurance, including critical illness coverage and optional orthodontia coverage Paid parental leave, adoption and surrogacy reimbursement Short‑term disability with 100% base salary coverage Company‑funded counseling (EAP) and assistance finding care for children, parents, or pets 25 days of Paid Time Off plus paid holidays, with additional time off for years of service 401(k) savings plan with 5% employer match plus additional contribution based on years of service Student debt payoff program Professional development programs and courses Wellness programs and financial education Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. #J-18808-Ljbffr Momentive
