Job Description
  • Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's requirements and develop individualized therapy strategies to support them in reaching their personal functional goals.
  • Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Employ evidence-based methods to boost patients' motor function, cognitive abilities, and daily living skills.
  • Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner effectively with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and holistic patient care.
  • Guide Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and their families about therapy techniques that will facilitate their continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
  • Track and Report Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to keep patients on track.
Education
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Continued education opportunities and post-graduate certifications are supported and encouraged.
Certifications
  • Possession of a current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
  • NBCOT certification is mandatory.
Skills
