Job Description
- Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's requirements and develop individualized therapy strategies to support them in reaching their personal functional goals.
- Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Employ evidence-based methods to boost patients' motor function, cognitive abilities, and daily living skills.
- Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner effectively with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and holistic patient care.
- Guide Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and their families about therapy techniques that will facilitate their continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Track and Report Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to keep patients on track.
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Continued education opportunities and post-graduate certifications are supported and encouraged.
- Possession of a current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT certification is mandatory.
- A genuine passion for helping others, with a strong desire to assist patients in achieving their highest level of independence.
- Exceptional communication skills and a compassionate approach to interactions with patients and colleagues alike.
- Creative problem-solving capability to adapt treatment plans to meet a diverse array of needs.
