Commercial Lines Account Executive

Job Summary Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to join a team. This role involves managing a robust book of business, focusing on renewals, and providing exceptional service to a clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial insurance products, risk management principles, and alternative risk financing strategies, including captive insurance programs. Compensation Package Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000 annually + bonus & commission opportunities Commission Opportunities: Yes Bonus Opportunities: Yes Benefits: Competitive benefits package, 401(k), paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc. Responsibilities Manage a book of business with a premium size of $8-9 million, consisting of approximately 45 accounts. Focus on renewals, which constitute 85% of the workload, while also handling new business as needed. Serve clients across industries such as hospitality, wholesale, professional lines, main street businesses, and real estate. Collaborate with top carriers, including Cincinnati, Travelers, CHUBB, and Captive. Utilize the Applied EPIC agency management system to maintain accurate records and streamline processes. Provide expert advice on commercial insurance products and risk management strategies, including captive insurance programs. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Participate in minimal travel to meet with clients as required. Qualifications/Requirements Proven experience in commercial insurance, with a strong understanding of risk management principles and alternative risk financing strategies. Familiarity with industries such as hospitality, wholesale, professional lines, main street businesses, and real estate. Proficiency in using the Applied EPIC agency management system or similar platforms. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle a diverse portfolio of accounts. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, with two days onsite and two days remote each week.
