Your expertise will directly contribute to customer satisfaction by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of automotive systems and components. You will work closely with service advisors and other team members to deliver timely and high-quality service that meets manufacturer standards. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or equivalent technical certification. Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive repair or a related technical field. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and automotive repair equipment. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a dealership environment, preferably with Hyundai vehicles. Advanced ASE certifications in specific areas such as engine repair, electrical systems, or HVAC. Completion of a formal automotive technology program from an accredited institution. Strong computer skills, including familiarity with dealership management software and electronic service manuals. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify mechanical and electrical issues. Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical systems using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment. Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks to ensure vehicle longevity and performance. Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and warranty requirements. Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair needs and timelines to customers clearly and professionally. Stay current with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training and certification programs. Ensure the workshop is organized, clean, and compliant with all safety regulations and environmental standards. Skills: The required skills enable the technician to accurately diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle issues, ensuring safety and reliability for customers. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment is essential for efficient troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
