PrideStaff on behalf of a client in Broward County is looking for a Junior Staff Accountant to manage invoicing, payment processing, and collections. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the Lead-to-Cash process and help drive strategic decisions through Financial Planning and Analysis.
Responsibilities:- Support the end-to-end Lead-to-Cash process, including managing subscription licensing invoicing, processing sales orders, and overseeing accounts receivable collections.
- Assist in building and refining annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyze actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and variances.
- Maintain, update, and improve financial models and reporting tools to optimize data accuracy.
- Prepare clear, concise financial reports and presentations to help management make data-driven decisions.
- Contribute to various accounting and finance initiatives as needed to support team goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a must
- 2–3 years of professional experience in accounting, financial planning, or analysis
- Advanced Excel skill s are a must (experience with financial modeling is highly preferred).
- Experience with QuickBooks and Salesforce
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A team-first attitude with a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.
Must be able to submit to a background check and a drug screen
