Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Tele Acute Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in Med Surg/Tele Acute Care License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Experience with neurology patients Description: The position is for a registered nurse in a brain rescue unit specializing in neurosurgery and stroke care. The unit provides nursing care for adult patients with conditions affecting the brain and spinal column. Patient conditions include spinal surgery, intracranial hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and seizures. Nurses are required to work every other weekend and holidays as needed. Availability for 2 twelve-hour shifts will be required every 6-week schedule. Travel experience and familiarity with electronic health record systems are preferred.
