Registered Nurse - OR Circulator

Description Employee type: Non Exempt Full Time. Shift hours: 6am - 6pm. Requirements Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan. Current BLS, ACLS, PALS (or certification within one year of hire). 2 years Surgery or Circulator experience required. We are looking to fill a key position as a REGISTERED NURSE in our Operating Room. The OR Circulator Registered Nurse will provide patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The RN will prepare patients for surgery, monitor vitals, and ensure the surgical site is sterile. They will count surgical instruments and provide other assistance in the operating room as required by the surgeon. They will change dressings, administer medication, and monitor patients for signs of complications. The RN may provide instructions on patient care to family members or caregivers upon discharge. RN license required; Bachelor's degree preferred; one year experience preferred. When your shift ends, four seasons of recreation are right outside your door!
