Senior Corporate Counsel – IT TransactionsRole: Senior Corporate Counsel – Technology/Software Licensing, IT, BPO, Engineering and other professional services outsourcing transactionsLocation: New York, NY or Edison, NJ Office - requires candidate to be onsite at TCS NY office or TCS NJ office 5 days a weekJob Description:Reviewing, drafting and negotiating inbound and outbound procurement, sales and revenue generating agreementsReviewing, drafting and negotiating complex IT Services and Outsourcing Agreements including: Master Outsourcing Agreements, Professional Services Agreements, Bids and RFPs, Statements of Work, subcontracting agreements, software licensing, reseller agreements, NDAs, and SOWsDesired Skills & Experience:At least 11 years of relevant work experience in structuring, negotiating, and drafting Outsourcing, IT and Services contracts as a service provider/vendorMust enjoy working with sales teams in the technology and outsourcing industryMust be able to work independently, be self-motivated and have excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilitiesMust be able to take a pragmatic approach to minimize redlinesMust have strong negotiation skills with the ability to understand the customer perspective and reach a solution to protect the organization's interestsMust enjoy a fast-paced environment with multiple clients and stakeholdersMust have experience working with internal stakeholders such as HR, Information Security, finance and incorporate their comments into the documentMust be able to take a deal from the RFP stage to signatures independently with minimal supervisionEducation:Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school or equivalent law degree from an international legal education institution, with strong academic credentialsThe candidate must be, or eligible to be, licensed in good standing to practice law within the USJob location will be located in Manhattan New York or in Metropark (Edison) New Jersey. Currently this role will report to the Deputy General Counsel – Head of Legal, Americas. Candidate must be willing to go into one of these office 5 days a week.Salary Range: $175,000 - $220,000 a year
