Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Lead Sales Advisor for a full-time financial planning and wealth management opportunity in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. This position is designed for an experienced client-facing advisor who enjoys meeting prospective clients, developing financial recommendations, building trust and converting qualified opportunities into long-term advisory relationships.

Unlike many advisor positions, this role does not require the advisor to generate their own leads through cold calling or prospecting. Dedicated marketing and lead-development teams generate qualified opportunities and schedule appointments directly onto the advisor's calendar. Advisors can generally expect approximately 15-20 appointments per week.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Lead Sales Advisor's primary objective is to convert qualified prospects into long-term clients while delivering a consultative, fiduciary-focused financial planning experience.

The advisor conducts discovery and fact-finding meetings, identifies client goals and planning needs, develops and presents financial recommendations, and guides prospective clients through the decision-making process. The position works closely with planning and service teams to implement recommendations and transition new clients into ongoing relationships.

COMPENSATION
• Salary Range: $91,000-$110,000
• Team-Based Bonus Structure

• Dedicated Lead Development Specialists Generate Qualified Opportunities

FINANCIAL PLANNING & ADVISORY
• Conduct Discovery Meetings And Fact-Finding Discussions
• Identify Client Goals, Concerns, Opportunities And Planning Needs
• Present Customized Financial Planning Recommendations
• Develop Initial Retirement Planning Strategies
• Develop Initial Investment And Income Planning Strategies
• Recommend Investment Advisory Solutions When Appropriate
• Recommend Annuity, Insurance And Retirement Planning Solutions When Appropriate
• Acquire New Assets Under Management And Insurance Business
• Guide Prospects Through The Financial Decision-Making Process

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP DEVELOPMENT
• Meet With Prospective Clients Provided Through Marketing And Lead-Generation Systems
• Build Trust And Establish New Client Relationships
• Deliver A Consultative, Fiduciary-Focused Planning Experience
• Maintain Established Client Communication And Service Standards
• Transition New Clients Into Long-Term Relationships
• Work Closely With Planning And Service Teams To Support Ongoing Client Needs

COMPLIANCE & BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
• Ensure Compliance, Suitability, Documentation And Confidentiality Requirements Are Met
• Maintain Accurate CRM Documentation And Workflows
• Collaborate With Planning And Service Teams To Implement Recommendations
• Meet Annual Production And Business Development Goals

BUSINESS HOURS
• Monday-Thursday: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM-2:30 PM Once High-Priority Tasks Are Completed
• Paid Lunch Hour

• 3-5+ Years Of Experience Working With Clients In Financial Planning, Wealth Management Or Advisory Services REQUIRED
• 3-5 Years Of Client-Facing Sales Advisory Experience Within The Wealth Management Industry REQUIRED
• Illinois Life And Health License REQUIRED
• Series 65 OR Series 66 With Series 7 REQUIRED
• Bachelor's Degree REQUIRED
• Strong Sales And Relationship-Building Skills REQUIRED
• Excellent Presentation And Communication Abilities REQUIRED
• Strong Understanding Of Retirement Planning Concepts REQUIRED
• Ability To Close New Business Opportunities Ethically And Consultatively REQUIRED
• Detail-Oriented And Highly Organized REQUIRED

PREFERRED
• Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) Designation
