Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

SCHEDULE
Every other weekend

REQUIREMENTS
- RN license required in state or Compact
- Minimum of 2 years acute care RN experience
- Community hospital experience required
- Preferred: Trauma Level I or II experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS (others to be confirmed upon submission)
- Experience with charting in Epic preferred

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide emergency triage and acute care for patients across all age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Manage ventilated patients and administer BiPAP/CPAP as necessary
- Perform IV access, central line care, and administer IV vasopressors
- Recognize and manage dysrhythmias, STEMI, and stroke protocols
- Monitor and manage procedural sedation, including behavioral and psychiatric holds
- Handle a variety of cases including overdose, multisystem organ dysfunction, and neuro-trauma

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Full compliance required to start on time; non-compliance may delay start by 2 weeks
- Max request time off: 7 days per contract; holiday RTO policies apply
- Orientation is non-billable; length varies based on contract length
