Quality Assurance SupervisorMorrow, GA, USASalary: per yearFull TimeFresh Express offers a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees which includes; health, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, life insurance, wellness perks, and other voluntary benefits.Food Manufacturing- Quality Assurance SupervisorThe Food Safety Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for developing, administering and maintaining Food Safety and Quality programs that assure the production of high quality, safe products.Job Functions:Supervise the on-line quality assurance technicians to assure compliance to all company, customer quality, and food safety requirements.Effectively coach and drive performance improvements of QA Assistant Supervisors, QA Technicians, and Raw Material Inspectors.Address performance issues of QA personnel using Chiquita HR guidelines.Audit compliance to food safety requirements.Carry out root cause analysis and drive sustained improvement at the production level.Instill a culture of operational discipline, accuracy, and compliance.Prepare and conduct trainings on a range of topics (job specific or other mandatory trainings) for employees at different levels of the organization.Ensure that QA department employees are trained in and obey Chiquita's safety rules while carrying out their duties.Perform other duties as assigned.Preferred Qualifications/Skills:Strong technical knowledge of food processingStrong oral and written communication skillsProficiency in computer usage (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Bilingual English/SpanishExperience with ISO 22000 or equivalent systemPrevious experience in food manufacturingExperience:One to three years minimum experience in a Quality Assurance functionEducation/Training:B.S. in Food Science, Science or Technical DisciplineOther Information:The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees, and are not to be construed, as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified.
