Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and account reconciliations. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations. Assist clients with payroll processing and related payroll compliance. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Prepare and file sales tax, property tax, and other compliance-related reports as needed. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures. Identify accounting issues and work with managers to develop practical solutions. Assist with process improvements and implementation of accounting systems and automation tools. Support audit and tax engagements by preparing schedules and responding to information requests. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing timely, high-quality service. Qualifications BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2–5+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, outsourced accounting, or a related field. Experience with QuickBooks Online or other cloud-based accounting software preferred. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles. Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple client engagements, and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Experience with payroll processing and expense management systems is a plus.
