Microbulk/Bulk Service Technician

Bulk Service Technician Company: Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. Location: Canton, MI Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Bulk Service Technician to join our team. The Bulk Service Technician is responsible for tank repair, telemetry installation/maintenance, and maintaining and removing all types of gaseous and cryogenic storage units. The Bulk Service Technician will interact with project managers, sales, customers, contractors, engineers, and inspectors regarding installation and maintenance at the customer’s site. Benefits Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefit plan (medical, dental, vision and more) 401(k) retirement savings plan Paid time off (vacation, holidays, PTO) Employee discount programs Career growth opportunities Responsibilities Frequently travels to customer sites to perform installations, removals, repairs and preventative maintenance on bulk units Diagnoses problems, failures, and identifies replacement needs Repairs various items, systems and/or components of bulk units Ensures equipment is in safe working condition once repairs are complete Performs routine and preventive maintenance for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing functioning of equipment Requests equipment and supplies to complete the necessary installation/repair Manages inventory and shipping of parts to other Technicians in the region Arranges shipment of tanks to meet job schedule May require both planned and unplanned overnight travel Other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Basic tool knowledge and mechanical aptitude is a plus Experience in pipefitting and brazing is a plus Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record required No DUI/DWI or other alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years Must be able/willing to travel (overnight travel required) All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, protected veteran status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other reason prohibited by applicable law. #J-18808-Ljbffr Linde Gas & Equipment Inc.
