A contract opening is available for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to work 1:1 with a medically fragile student near Jackson, GA. This is a rewarding opportunity to create a positive impact every day, supporting a child with spina bifida, hydrocephalus, and complex medical needs in a school setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active RN license in Georgia
• Prior experience in school nursing or with pediatric medically fragile populations preferred
• Proficient in catheterization (performed every 3 hours), G-tube feeds, oxygen administration, seizure monitoring, and safe lifting/transfers
• Ability to handle emergencies with a calm, professional approach
• Comfortable providing consistent care to a wheelchair-bound student
• Willingness and reliability to interview face-to-face on-site only (no virtual interviews accepted)

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering direct, attentive care to one medically complex student during the school day
• Performing routine catheterization, trach/respiratory care, G-tube feedings, and mobility assistance
• Maintaining detailed student health records and communicating with the wider school team
• Closely monitoring for changes in health status and responding promptly as needed
• Collaborating with school staff and the student’s family to create a supportive environment
