About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Deposit and Payment Operations. This executive leadership role is pivotal in driving the end-to-end strategy, execution, and performance of deposit and payment operations across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of these activities, ensuring scalability, control, and performance across a large financial institution. This includes overseeing a diverse and complex operating model, driving operational excellence, and leading a multi-year enterprise payments transformation. The role also involves maintaining a strong risk and control environment, aligning with regulatory expectations, and serving as a senior leader in various enterprise forums. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' banking operations and leadership experience, with a specific focus on deposit and payment operations. A proven track record of leading large-scale, complex operations organizations within a financial institution is essential. The role requires a deep understanding of deposit operations and payment processing across multiple rails, as well as experience in enterprise transformation and organizational change. Exposure to emerging payment technologies and digital assets is also necessary. The ideal candidate will have strong executive presence, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to influence and build cross-functional partnerships. An undergraduate degree is required, with a preference for an MBA or other relevant graduate degree.
