A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.Job Posting Title: Senior Product ManagerHubs: Dallas, Chicago, NY and LAJob Summary:Reporting to the Head of the Liquidity Product Management Transaction Banking of Americas (TBA) and focusing on the management and delivery of Transaction Banking Liquidity Products within the United States. The incumbent will be responsible with the development and management of the strategic goals of the Transaction Banking, with a primary focus on the virtual account management product which aligns within MUFG’s Banks offering - on-balance sheet deposit options.As a member of the Liquidity Solutions Team, the job holder will play a crucial role in all phases of the product and project management including working closely with vendors, technology, sales, product and project managers, and SMEs (i.e., risk, finance, operations, and servicing and delivery teams) to ensure a market leading product is met with strategic vision and succuss criteria.The job holder will also work closely with Transaction Banking Division (TBD) in Tokyo and other regional Transaction Banking teams to support the regional management of the liquidity products and deposit portfolio by managing platforms, prioritizing global priorities, and setting the global direction for enterprise-wide initiatives. At times, job holder may serve as a liaison between TBA and TBD.Major Responsibilities:PRODUCT STRATEGY AND DELIVERYResponsible for end-to-end product management and development of a new virtual account management productProvides day-to-day support may work alongside the Deposits Product ManagerAssist client delivery teams with onboarding, and inquiries related to system configuration for customer set-up and user maintenanceProactively communicates identified system issues to ensure a seamless product experience for clientsProduce and monitor monthly reports of key performance indicators to manage and drive P&L revenue target and identify emerging balance and revenue trendsParticipate in vetting sales opportunitiesSupport sales in new opportunities and provide on RFPsAssist in the creation of strategy presentations which define markets, product design, profitability, alternative systems, operating expenditures, capitalization and other factorsServe as a key participant in product life cycle activities such as performing new product/feature approval tasks, drafting marketing and sales support materials, developing operating procedures, and representing the business to operational, project and technology teamsLeverage solutions across multiple markets to improve time to market, create consistent customer experience and manage delivery of services to attract and retain customers, and respond to changing industry and customer needsSupport the development of business cases for technology investmentsCoordinate the development and enhancement of the product set between Project Managers, Operations, Client Delivery, IT partners and other stakeholders. Rollout plans may require weekend/after-hours application testing, as required.Maintain awareness of major industry trends and evaluate enhancement opportunities.PRODUCT RISK MANAGEMENTActively participate in periodic product risk assessments and procedure reviews.Proactively identify and address risk issues including remediation of product related audit and/or self-identified issues.Strong understanding of regulatory implications on bank liquidity and effects on clientsExperience/Abilities:Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years’ experience in product management, operations, service, or business analysis role in the wholesale/transaction banking marketKnowledge of delivering Transaction Banking services to Asian corporate clients is preferredA goal-oriented team player with ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with groups or individuals across the institution and within the industryAbility to interact effectively at all levels of the organizationAbility to prepare and deliver executive level presentationsCollaborative with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to excel in execution of complex and demanding situationsDetail-oriented with proven execution track record of managing multiple projects simultaneouslyTechnical working knowledge of industry cash management standard payment file formatsHas a good understanding of investment vehicles such as money market mutual fundsAbility to work autonomously and initiate and prioritize own workSolid judgment, strong negotiation skillsStrong skills in data gathering, analysis, and interpretationFamiliarity with bank systems and online banking managementExpert level knowledge of Microsoft Products (with emphasis on Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint)Working knowledge of Confluence or other collaboration platformsFlexible worker, with ability to travel if requiredThe typical base pay range for this role is between $109K - $168K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
