You will work alongside a collaborative group of colleagues who value team camaraderie and are fully prepared to provide mentorship and training for advanced bedside procedures to ensure your success within the practice. * Join an established team of 5 physicians and 6 APPs * Practice setting: Closed ICU * Employed position within a nonprofit health system * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine * Fellowship training in Critical Care or Pulmonary/Critical Care * Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration * Deliver comprehensive critical care through daily bedside rounds and total-system evaluations, ensuring every clinical, psycho-social, and ethical need of the patient is addressed * Perform life-saving interventions and advanced bedside procedures, including complex catheter placements and airway management, to stabilize and support patients in their most vulnerable moments About the Facility * 251 -bed teaching hospital with closed ICU * Trauma designation: Level III * Serving a population of approximately 738,000 * Integrated referral network * Part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system Why Physicians Choose Ascension * Physician-led, collaborative culture * Long-term practice stability * National network with local autonomy * Mission-centered care rooted in service What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: * Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job
