Full-time Intensivist (Physician #)

Job Requirements University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center (UM SJMC), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking an Intensivist Physician to join our team in Towson, Maryland. UM SJMC is an 218‑bed Catholic hospital with more than 700 physicians, offering specialties in cardiology, cancer, orthopaedics, emergency care, obstetrics & gynecology, and surgical services.
SJMC is a CMS 5‑Star, Leapfrog Grade ‘A’ hospital and has been ranked the #1 community hospital in Maryland by U.S. News and World Report.
Responsibilities Full‑time schedule within a 20‑bed Medical‑Surgical Intensive Care Unit, 6‑bed Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit, and a 6‑bed Intermediate Care Unit on a rotating basis.
Co‑coverage of the units during daytime shifts with another physician and nighttime coverage with two advanced practice providers.
Qualifications Board‑certified in Critical Care Medicine.
License to practice medicine in the state of Maryland.
Education and training (BE/BE) in an area of specialty such as internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine.
