Physical Therapist (PT) – School Setting

2026–2027 School Year | Full-Time Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join a school-based team for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year . This is a great opportunity to support students’ physical development and functional mobility in an educational environment.

Position Overview

The Physical Therapist is responsible for conducting student evaluations and providing therapy services in accordance with individualized plans of care and physician orders (when applicable). This role plays a key part in helping students improve mobility, independence, and participation in school activities.

Position Details

• Start Date: August 17, 2026
• Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
• Contract Length: 9 months (school year)
• Setting: School-based
• Interview Process: No client interview required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct physical therapy services
• Document therapy services and student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with all professional standards and regulations

Minimum Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• 1+ year of experience preferred (school-based or pediatric a plus)
• Strong knowledge of therapy practices and compliance standards

Additional Requirements

• CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB screening (PPD or chest X-ray)
• Current health certificate (as required)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Compensation

• Pay Rate: $60/hour
• Full-time, consistent hours throughout the school year
