Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant: Assist with month-end and year-end close , including journal entries and reconciliations. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Help prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting. Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies. Support audits and tax preparation by gathering necessary documentation. Background Expected of the Staff Accountant: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. 1-3 years of accounting experience (internship experience accepted, or corporate experience a plus) Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software a plus.
