Day.Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST to join our team!This is a wonderful opportunity for a new Radiology Technologist to be mentored and supported by a large staff. We offer the opportunity to cross train in a second modality and support future career growth into CT, MRI or Mammo roles!The diagnostic Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic examinations of the highest possible quality while limiting radiation exposure and using conventional, fluoroscopic, portable, and c-arm radiology equipment. Complies with measures to assure that patient/customer satisfaction results are consistently maintained. Appropriately supervises students according to competency level.HOURS: Working every other week, Wednesday-Tuesday, from 8:30pm to 6:30am, 72 hours per pay periodEnjoy having two full weeks off each month!Experience/QualificationsKnowledge of Imaging Services standards and procedures as they relate to radiographic procedures normally acquired through graduation from an approved radiography school, an Associate Degree in Radiography, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and/or State of Wisconsin Radiographer licensure requirements.ARRT (R)State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer licenseCurrent BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hireSite specific competencies in protocols, equipment, computer systems and applications.Employee BenefitsFull benefits packages available for part- and full-time status.PTO accrual from day one!Generous retirement plan with match available.Wellness program for employees and their families.Aspirus Wausau Hospital, the flagship of the Aspirus system, serves northeastern Minnesota, northern and central Wisconsin, and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
