Weekend Shipping Associate (Day shift)

Overview Filterbuy, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Weekend Shipping Associate to prepare orders by processing requests, pulling material, packing boxes, loading orders onto trucks, and assembling custom air filters. This role reports to the Shipping Supervisor in Fresno, CA. Schedule: Friday through Sunday, 6:30am to 5:00pm. Location: Fresno, CA. Duration: Long-term. Pay Rate: $18.00. This position emphasizes accuracy, following instructions with precision, and maintaining attention to detail throughout shipping and handling tasks. Responsibilities Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures. Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process. Take precision measurements to ensure accuracy. Assemble custom air filters. Scan and sort outgoing stock. Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and loading orders into trucks. Maintain equipment in good condition. Report issues, malfunctions, or defective parts. Demonstrate strong time management and a sense of urgency. Work collaboratively with others and independently as needed. Continuously improve skills and knowledge of shipping processes. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, packing area, and workstations neat; comply with procedures, rules, and regulations. Perform other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse work preferred. Ability to use tools and machines. Good understanding of quality control principles. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Excellent time-management skills. Willing and able to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., constant use of protective gear). Attention to detail. Teamwork and communication skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods working on feet (10-hour shifts) with frequent grasping, bending, walking, reaching, twisting, and pivoting. Frequent stretching/ reaching with both hands and arms. Dexterity and hand-eye coordination for grasping, manipulating, and boxing filters. Ability to bend, squat, and lift frequently; lift up to 40 pounds. Noise level is typically moderate.
