Software Developer - Front End

Location: Richfield, MN Duration: 8 Months Contract

Front-end web development, also known as client-side development is the practice of producing HTML, CSS and JavaScript for a website or Web Application so that a user can see and interact with them directly. Responsibilities include:

• Development of websites and applications through all phases of the development life cycle (including planning, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining)
• Working with project managers using traditional and Agile methodologies to plan and execute development
• A solid grasp of fundamental algorithms and applications
• Strong design and coding skills in Typescript/Javascript, and/or React
• Firm understanding of software development principles, capabilities and limitations of platforms, including first-time user experience, battery life, connectivity issues, and perceived performance
• Experience influencing software engineering best practices within your team
• Hands on experience with JavaScript frameworks
• Knowledge of Accessibility and Web Standards
• Experience with both Responsive and Adaptive Web Design
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, yarn, etc.

Seeking a professionally experienced Programmer/Analyst to provide full life-cycle development for JAVA/J2EE WEB application using RAD in an IBM WebSphere environment.

The candidate will be working in a team environment to enhance and support corporate card banking systems. The candidates must have a strong Web application development background. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of Java/J2EE, SQL, and JDBC development experience, 8+ years experience in OOAD, knowledge of JUnit, frameworks, and full life-cycle system development. Development will likely involve front-end GUI development, middleware development, or back-end database connectivity for distributed systems. Experience with Restful APIs, React, Microservices. Experience with JavaScript library and framework like React.JS and AngularJS. Expertise with open stack technologies to implement Microservices, have prior experience in working with Spring Boot, Kafka, NoSQL/Cassandra and/or Graph DB's technologies. Experience working in a DevOps environment (Git/GitHub, CI/CD Pipelines, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure, AWS, GCP). Considerable technical, logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
