Substation/Controls Engineering Assistant I/II Location EOB - Electric Job Code 1560 # of openings 1 Job Duties Under general supervision, performs technical engineering duties in the planning, design, and implementation of substation projects—including construction, control system and protective relay installation and maintenance, and diagnostic troubleshooting—while assisting with the installation and maintenance of commission communications systems (radio, LAN/WAN, fiber optic, and SCADA) and reviewing system load reports and events affecting electric system reliability and performance. Substation/Controls Engineer Assistant I Salary Range: $49,836.80 – $77,272.00 Anticipated Hiring Range: $49,836.80 – $63,564.80 (commensurate with skills and experience) Over one year of experience Valid Driver's License Associate degree in Electronic, Industrial, or Electric Systems Engineering Technology Preferred: BS in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Industrial Technology Substation/Controls Engineer Assistant II Salary Range: $62,212.80 – $96,408.00 Anticipated Hiring Range: $62,212.80 – $79,310.40 (commensurate with skills and experience) Over three years of experience Valid Driver's License Associate degree in Electronic, Industrial, or Electric Systems Engineering Technology Preferred: BS in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Industrial Technology Typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm.
