Controller - $10B Manufacturer

A large, publicly traded global $10B Manufacturer is seeking a Controller to serve as a true leader with broad ownership over financial consolidation, reporting, controls, and transformation. This is a senior leadership role for a technically strong CPA who thrives in complex, multi-entity environments and wants genuine influence over how a large, evolving organization accounts, consolidates, and reports at scale. What You'll Own Lead month-end close coordination, review, and commentary across a large, multi-entity segment Drive the segment's full consolidation process including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow commentary Lead creation and maturity of Shared Services organization Oversee shared services team development and optimization Participate in acquisition activity including due diligence, quality of earnings, purchase accounting, and post-close integration Support SEC requirements Support implementation and optimization of a new consolidation system Manage chart of accounts evolution and ensure consistent adoption of accounting and reporting policies across all entities Serve on governance committees overseeing enterprise structure elements Partner with external auditors to ensure seamless audit processes Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team Drive continuous improvement across close, consolidation, and reporting processes Ensure strong internal controls over financial reporting across the segment What We're Looking For Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA required 10+ years of progressive financial reporting and consolidation experience Deep knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, and SEC reporting requirements Experience with financial consolidation software M&A experience including quality of earnings, purchase accounting, and integration Strong project management and change management skills Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Why This Role Stands Out Reports directly to C- Suite Central role in accounting transformation, Shared Services buildout, and M&A integration High visibility across a large, complex public company #J-18808-Ljbffr Buckingham Search
