We are seeking a compassionate and dependable individual to join our team and provide high-quality support to clients in the comfort of their homes. In this role, you will help promote dignity, safety, and independence while assisting with day-to-day needs and offering meaningful companionship.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, as appropriate
• Support mobility, transfers, and positioning while following safe care practices
• Provide help with meal preparation, feeding support, and light housekeeping tasks
• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance client well-being
• Remind clients to take medications as directed, when permitted by care guidelines
• Monitor and report changes in client condition, behavior, or environment to the appropriate supervisor
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and follow individualized care plans
• Adhere to all safety procedures, confidentiality requirements, and agency policies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an approved home health aide training program, where required
• Current certification or willingness to obtain certification based on local requirements
• Experience providing personal care or in-home support is an asset
• Ability to follow instructions, communicate clearly, and work independently
• Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and respectful approach
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client homes, as needed
• Ability to lift, move, and assist clients in accordance with safe work practices
