Or, as we like to put it: BENTELER makes it happen!Core Responsibilities:Manage and coordinate multi-modal daily inbound and outbound transportation activities for bundle and threaded pipe as well as other materials as requested.Schedule and tender inbound and outbound transportation based on approved vetted Benteler transportation providers.Provide daily report to leadership regarding inbound and outbound shipments.Collaborate with IT to address and resolve issues within SAP and work closely with management team to ensure timely problem resolution as needs arise.Ensure proper SAP and Bill of Lading functions in accordance with SOP.Drive continuous improvement through building and/or refining of SOPs and work to identify outdated, manual or redundant tasks and simplify or automate them.Assist the Shipping Supervisor and Logistics Manager as needed.Perform general housekeeping as needed in all working areas.Cooperate with sales department to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.Maintain all working areas in safe and orderly way.Complete any and all required training as deemed necessary by supervisor. Job Requirements:BA/BS in Transportation Management or like discipline – or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience in a manufacturing environment with safety programs and incident accountability.Experience with SAP preferred.Must be familiar with TMS (Transportation Management System).
