Environment, Health And Safety ManagerWe are seeking an experienced, ambitious EHS Manager to lead execution of a comprehensive EHS program. This role will serve as the site's primary EHS leader, responsible for strengthening a proactive, safety-first culture and ensuring the facility operates in compliance with company standards and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.The ideal candidate is a hands-on, highly accountable leader who can balance technical EHS expertise with strong communication, relationship-building, and operational leadership.EHS Leadership & Compliance• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the site's EHS management system and safety culture• Anticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices, and develop effective hazard-control methods, procedures, and programs• Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, EPA, ANSI, NFPA, and other federal, state, and local EHS requirements• Maintain required records, permits, reports, and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements• Provide technical EHS expertise and guidance to site leadership, employees, contractors, and other stakeholders• Monitor regulatory and industry developments and recommend improvements to maintain compliance and industry best practicesRisk Management & Continuous Improvement• Implement and administer hazard-control programs and ensure corrective and preventive actions are identified, assigned, completed, and sustained• Conduct and document Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and other risk assessments• Perform facility and operational inspections, audits, and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement• Partner with operations and maintenance teams to proactively address hazards and improve workplace safety• Support Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews and ensure appropriate EHS considerations are incorporated into new equipment, processes, and projectsIncident Management & Workers' Compensation• Lead investigations of work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and prevent recurrence• Ensure timely and accurate accident and incident reporting• Monitor medical incident reports and coordinate with Human Resources regarding workers' compensation and return-to-work programs• Track corrective actions and verify that identified improvements are effectively implementedTraining & Employee Engagement• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees, leaders, contractors, and other applicable personnel• Lead and train Emergency Response Teams• Serve as Chair of the Site Safety Committee and facilitate employee engagement in safety initiatives• Support new employee orientation and ensure employees understand applicable EHS policies, procedures, and expectations• Build strong relationships throughout the organization and influence employees and leaders to make safe, compliant decisionsEHS Program OwnershipThe EHS Manager will provide technical expertise and leadership for programs including:• EHS Policies & Procedures• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)• Inspections & Audits• Corporate EHS Reporting• Accident & Incident Investigations and Reporting• Industrial Hygiene• Machine Guarding• Hazard Communication• Fall Protection & Roof Access• New Employee Orientation & EHS Training• Contractor Safety• Safe Work Permits• Electrical Safety• Ergonomics• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)• Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews• Emergency ResponseWhat You Will Need To Succeed• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Engineering, or a related field preferred• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification is a plus• 5+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing environment• Thorough knowledge of EHS standards, methodologies, and regulatory requirements, including OSHA, ANSI, EPA, and NFPA• Demonstrated ability to take ownership, exercise sound judgment, and independently drive EHS initiatives from concept through execution
