Locum tenens: CRNA Opening | Central Maine

A reputable medical facility 45-minutes from Portland, Maine, that has an opportunity for a CRNA to provide locum coverage.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts 4 days/week, 7:00a-5:30p
• No call or weekends
• Cases: General, OB, endo; no hearts, trauma, or heads
• CRNAs do not do epidurals
• Mix of CRNAs to MDs: 3-4:1
• 23 CRNAs on staff; medically directed
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel and expenses

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered CRNA state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited CRNA program
• One year of work experience as CRNA
• One year of Epic experience
• Board Certified

• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.

Requirements:
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
