Production Operator

Full-time, 40 hours/week,MondayFriday daytime shift.

About Atomic

Atomic Coffee Roasters is a family-run specialty roaster on Boston's North Shore, sharing positive energy through great coffee. We roast in Peabody and produce cold brew in Danvers, fueling a growing DTC and wholesale business.

The Role

Work alongside our roastery team to keep production moving weighing, packaging, blending, and prepping our full assortment of coffees for customers. If you enjoy a fast-paced, hands-on environment and you love coffee, this is your seat.

What You'll Do

• Operate weigh-and-fill machines to portion coffee accurately.
  
• Run band sealers and foot sealers.
  
• Blend coffee to recipe.
  
• Label bags and apply date stamps.
  
• Package, ship, fulfill, and allocate orders.
  
• Unload deliveries and help keep inventory organized.
  
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
  
• Jump in where needed with a small, friendly team.
  

What Success Looks Like (first 90 days)

• You run weigh-and-fill, sealing, and blending tasks accurately and independently.
  
• Coffee is packaged, labeled, and dated correctly every time.
  
• Production areas stay clean, organized, and ready for the next run.
  
• You move smoothly between tasks as the day's needs shift.
  

What You Bring

• Very detail-oriented and a team player.
  
• Able and willing to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for most of the day.
  
• Comfortable taking direction and switching between multiple tasks.
  
• Reliable and consistent you show up when scheduled and own the work.
  
• Basic comfort with computers/labels; you learn new tools fast.
  

Nice-to-Haves (not required)

• Production, packaging, or warehouse/fulfillment experience.
  
• Cafe/restaurant background.
  
• Pallet jack/forklift comfort (we'll train/certify if needed).
  

Work Environment

Hands-on, fast-paced roastery with occasional temperature swings (warehouse doors, deliveries). Training provided.

Schedule & Pay

• Schedule:MondayFriday, 40 hours/week, daytime shift no nights, weekends, or holidays.
  
• Pay:$22.00/hour.
  
• Benefits:Free coffee for all team members. Eligible for health insurance and paid time off after a 90-day probationary period.
