Envision Unlimited is a leading human services organization providing innovative support and care to individuals with disabilities and mental health needs throughout Chicagoland and Central Illinois.

Position Summary

The Mental Health DSP provides direct support to adults with mental illness helping them achieve recovery and independent living goals in a safe supportive residential setting.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate person-centered care and support.
Assist clients with daily living skills budgeting transportation and community integration.
Support treatment goals and document services provided.
Supervise or administer medications as trained.
Facilitate recreational and community activities.
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with agency standards.
Help ensure a clean safe and supportive living environment.

Requirements

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience in mental health human services caregiving or related field preferred.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must meet all background check and training requirements.
