Human Resources Generalist

Position: Human Resource Generalist Reports to: Human Resource Manager Department: Human Resources Status: Full-Time, Regular – Exempt/Salary Position Value Proposition GrayWolf Modular is hiring a HR Generalist who is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works collaboratively within the HR Department as well as with other department managers in support of the business. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, employee compensation, and employment law compliance. Core Responsibilities Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements. Administer Leave of Absence programs to ensure compliance with federal and state employment law. Participates in developing and revising department processes, procedures and systems to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed. Supports administration for tracking and processing employee changes. Administer employee onboarding, orientation and off-boarding. Responds to human resources related inquiries. Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes or company policies. Maintains human resource information system records. Point of Contact for HR/SOX Workflows. Responsible for performing routine audits of employee records and personnel transactions. Understanding of state and federal employment regulations. Knowledge of hiring process. Understanding of personnel and compliance records management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Work Experience/Education Minimum 2 years human resources experience. Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems. PHR or SPHR certification preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is required. Software & Technology Position will require the frequent use and knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office, Kronos or comparable time‑keeping system, Paycom or comparable HRIS/Payroll system. Work Environment Position requires as many hours needed to fulfill the daily and weekly obligations required to carry out the functions. Working long days including evenings and weekends may be required for this position. Position may require out of state air/road travel as needed and required. A clean driving record will be required due to required road travel. Current and valid driver’s license and proof of acceptable insurance is required. This position is generally indoors in a climate‑controlled office.
