• Shift: MondayFriday 7:00 AM 4:30 PM; 24-hour weekend call (no weekday night call)
• Hours/Week: ~40 hours
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens
• Certifications: Valid Michigan medical license, BC/BE in Gastroenterology, ERCP certification REQUIRED
• Experience: At least 2+ years in GI practice, proficiency in endoscopy and ERCP

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: To be discussed (per hour worked from 7 AM to 5 PM)
• Orientation Rate: Half of the hourly rate for training and onboarding
• Weekend & Holiday Pay: 1.5x pay for holidays; 4 hours of 24-hour weekend call compensation included

What You'll Do:

• Perform outpatient and inpatient GI procedures, including endoscopies and ERCPs
• Provide consults and patient management within clinic and hospital settings
• Support hospital staff with complex GI cases
• Collaborate with onsite physicians, APPs, and laboratory teams
• Document procedures and patient interactions using Cerner EMR
• Assist in scheduled outpatient clinics and emergency procedures as needed
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety

What You Need:

Required:

• Michigan medical license in good standing
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• ERCP certification
• 2+ years of clinical GI experience
• Strong procedural skills in endoscopy and ERCP

Preferred:

• Prior locum experience
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and patient management skills
