Job Overview MatriScope Engineering Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and organized Project & Business Development Coordinator to provide direct support to the Vice President overseeing business development, healthcare, and project management. This role is integral to the success of multiple high-impact projects across the region and will involve a blend of project coordination, business development support, administrative functions, and quality assurance tracking. Key Responsibilities Assist in business development activities including sales planning, client pre-positioning, and proposal coordination. Support tracking and organization of budget updates, forecasts, and reporting. Develop new tools, trackers, and resources to improve efficiency across teams. Provide general marketing and administrative support, including scheduling, correspondence, and coordination for the Vice President. Coordinate project management activities, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within budget. Manage project plans, submittals, RFIs, and related documentation for team members. Maintain and communicate project schedules to ensure timely assignment of staff to tasks. Track and organize field and laboratory quality documentation, including reports, NCRs, and daily logs. Process reports and upload documents into various tools including Procore, Project Inertia, and other construction management platforms. Assist with daily staffing coordination between field and office personnel, as well as subcontractors. Support engineering and construction team members with daily assignments, project meetings, and follow-up correspondence. Assist in coordinating field construction quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA), and code compliance activities. Maintain tracking of non-conformance reports (NCRs), RFIs, and corrective actions. Support delivery of field inspection and quality programs in alignment with regulatory and project requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred (equivalent experience will be considered). 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, construction management, or business development support preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset. MatriScope offers competitive salary and benefit package.
