Adjunct Teaching Faculty: Nursing (MSN Nurse Executive)

Position Overview Adjunct Teaching Faculty: Nursing (MSN Nurse Executive) – Non‑Core Faculty Starting Salary $38 per hour. Duties & Responsibilities Facilitate classroom and distance/distributed learning. Prepare courses and syllabi. Coordinate and plan class curriculum. Assess and evaluate learner progress. Mentor and advise students. Hold office hours and meet with students. Supervise research/scholarship, especially MA theses, Psy.D. projects, and Ph.D., Ed.D., DBA dissertations. Skills Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and be self‑motivated. High accuracy and attention to detail with strong problem‑solving skills. Clear communication of complex requirements. Flexibility to manage multiple tasks within deadlines. Drive to guide candidates toward task completion. Effective teamwork and relationship building with students, faculty, and administrative staff. Cultural competence and effective communication with diverse populations. Highly motivated, focused, and results‑oriented. Discretion and tact in all interpersonal interactions and confidentiality. Collaboration with stakeholders to support candidate success. Ability to make administrative decisions and judgments. Minimum Qualifications Graduate degree in nursing; a doctorate in nursing or related field preferred. Official transcripts from all post‑secondary institutions. Minimum of two years full‑time registered nursing clinical experience. Desirable nursing administration and leadership experience. Preferred experience teaching and developing graduate nursing courses. RN licensure (unencumbered) in the state of residence; California licensure required for California‑based online programs. Preferred certifications: Certified Nurse Educator, NE‑BC, NEA‑BC, or CNML.
